Product Catalogue
For this project, I was tasked with designing a comprehensive product catalogue for Torres, a renowned Spanish winery, represented in Sweden
by The Wine & Spirits Collective. I was responsible for creating a visually cohesive catalogue that showcased the winery’s diverse portfolio, while ensuring full compliance with Swedish alcohol marketing regulations. My work included developing custom layouts, precise typographic treatments, and retouching product imagery to maintain brand consistency and produce a professional, impactful sales tool.

In the context of Sweden's Systembolaget, a state-owned monopoly that controls the retail sale of alcohol, a well-crafted product catalog becomes an indispensable tool for importers like Torres. Given the structured and regulated nature of the market, where product listings are determined through a tender process, a comprehensive catalog serves as a vital resource for presenting the brand's portfolio to Systembolaget's purchasing teams. It not only showcases the range and quality of Torres' wines but also communicates the brand's values and commitment to sustainability, aligning with Systembolaget's focus on responsible and ethical sourcing.

I was tasked with creating a comprehensive product catalogue for a wine importer representing Torres, a renowned Spanish winery. The project involved designing a catalogue for several hundred products, each requiring precise typographic treatment for details like pricing, origin, and alcohol content, all while ensuring the information was clear and easy to navigate across both print and digital formats.
I handled all aspects of image production, from photographing the wine bottles to retouching and optimizing them for high-quality print. The images were carefully edited for consistency, with attention to color correction, friläggning (background removal), and shadow adjustments.
Given Sweden’s strict alcohol marketing laws, I had to ensure the design adhered to regulatory standards. This meant avoiding any promotional language or visual cues that could suggest lifestyle associations with alcohol. The challenge was to convey product value through clean, professional design while respecting these limitations.
Throughout the project, I collaborated closely with the marketing team and photographers to refine the layout and ensure everything met technical and legal requirements.
